Tell us about the size and scope of your organization

West Coast Turf is a grower and installer of premium natural grass sod for golf courses, stadiums, parks, homes, and many other sites in the Western United States. As our VP of Operations with a background in technology and product management, I manage West Coast Turf's administrative, marketing, and technology projects.

How did you handle payments before and what were some of the challenges you faced?

We utilized another popular credit card processing company that also integrated with Acumatica, but from the start we found their integrations to be extremely buggy with misspellings and unexpected behaviors causing thousands of dollars in data corruption support costs to rectify. More importantly, they were unable to correctly process transactions costing West Coast Turf tens of thousands of dollars in lost revenue due to transactions not being settled correctly, late processing, and chargebacks.

Why did you decide to go with Acumatica Payments?

We wanted a credit card processing solution that would be directly supported by Acumatica support engineers so we could be confident that the workflows functioned correctly, and that if they didn't, there was no one else to point to looking for resolutions.

How has Acumatica Payments solved your challenges and what benefits have you seen for your business?

Acumatica Payments allows us to confidently process our credit cards without the constant fear of data corruption from the integration. It's saved countless time reconciling transactions with the automatic Settlement Batch Imports built in Acumatica. Working with Acumatica's and Fortis' staff through our beta testing, we've felt that our implementation was not being ignored and that they are receptive to our suggestions for features and functionality.
